Why should I repeat Positive Affirmations? What benefit do they really bring?

Positive Affirmations stem from the use of Mantras in Hinduism an Buddhism , Mantras are sounds or phrases that are used to aid a person in their focus and concentration. The belief resonates that one can form a strong and connected mind so that they can remain on course DURING times of uncertainty.

Affirmations are important as discussed in Cymatics words, sounds and hymns have an impact on things they touch. Why do you really think those huge metal pipe resonating Organs, are called "Organs"? There is no mistake in the attunement of a piano key in symphony with your Heart, or Lungs or even other bodily functions.

Because of this vibrational encounter every day you walk around absorbing ideas, thoughts, words, pictures, sounds and sensations from your external environments. When you do this you consciously or subconsciously adapt and relate yourself to all of these surroundings. It is going to be beneficial to your long term well being to be aware of what you are taking in or putting out, and not in the "karmic" way you might think. Karma is the Sanskrit word for "Function" you do not "Do good to get more Good" or vice versa, you are: What You Do. It is your purpose to perform your life function, without a "Why" they say you will get lost. Only you can figure out why you are here and perform that route in its ever changing moments.

There will always be unanticipated events and association to fear, anger, and stresses in life, however building your resilience and changing your default reactions to responses that don't engage in immediate negativity will create a life of peaceful stillness during what can be perceived as a storm.

Aligning with the vibrational aspect of Mantras or Affirmations can assist you to remain aligned with your beliefs and inner feelings. What thoughts do you confirm to yourself every day? What auto pilot programs have you formed? What daily habits and rituals are bringing you what outcome? What technology, radiation, signal or electromagnetic energy is impacting you? What type of music and word choices do you have?

Without envisioning a specific outcome or at least trying to gain clarity on possibilities your minds automated processes will take place and you won’t quite get to the destination you had in mind (probably for the best). The distracting energy around you can be better managed with Sound and Mantras attuned to Frequencies that direct the mind and body to align with true purpose.

RESONANT MIND

Allowing Space by Cleansing the Mind and Body

What are some of the fears, doubts or arrogant traits that are limiting your potential? What interruptions, distractions, errands or other factors take you off of the path to completing your goals for the day? These sound like questions you would rather avoid but answering them allows for you to gain clarity of results you don’t want which means clarity on what you do want.

They say you don’t have to know who you want to be, you start by defining who you aren’t. Which is why meditation is not a practice of becoming something, it is a practice or realizing you are no thing; and this brings overwhelming comfort as it allows you to relax when there is no thing to do or adhere to.

There is a process involved with affirming good thoughts, you must allow the mind and body to connect you to the words you are saying on every level. The more basic and direct the words the better. The word choice is important as not to choose trick words like “RELEASE” which is made up of two parts:

RE - to forward or go again
LEASE - a binding contract or periodic notice 

Release does not mean to let go regardless of your “emotional impact on the words” the vibrational cause that makes the letters of these sounds does not make space for your body to let go in the way you want. Entomology is an important study of word origins and you will find, that with proper use of language, affirmations work. This is because of their vibrational pattern and rhythm. Mantras use great knowledge of vibration and are not just "feel good phrases". You must make the mental and physical space to allow for resonance within the mind and body planes of existence. 

Affirmations are used to help nurture and shape your mind into a calm and powerful one that has the ability to transmute emotions and thoughts with etiquette and intention.

When the mind tries to form a new idea there is a short window that exists before your auto pilot program takes place and your inner reaction core beliefs physically take over; it is up to you to change your intuitive ideas and pushes. What is your desire behind the words you are saying? Chances are greed or envy will not reap any results you want, so be sure that it is "For the Good of All, or Not at All".

If you are always waiting until you feel right, you will be wasting this life.

When you feel yourself ready to affirm your worry, ask yourself are you looking from your higher self or falling back on your preconditioned sense of ego to get you though?

Naturally you should find ways to make adjustments to your views as needed, the secret to personal growth is the will to learn, unlearn, learn, and do it over and over. New ways of thinking are always available and are only one new thought away if you are willing to let it in and move what is taking up space. Don’t allow yourself to procrastinate and use stress relief to find an equilibrium of calm.

 

Monitoring your influences is important. Your words and decisions should come from a inner place of stillness and not as responses to external forces.
